Humming Bird in my Drought Tolerant Garden.

I have a humming bird feeder given to me by a friend seven years ago. After I planted my drought tolerant garden, I decided to put that bird feeder to use. I made my own "nectar" using a recipe I found online: one part sugar, dissolved in four parts water, and placed the nectar in the feeder hanging below my front roof. To my delight, humming birds came around almost immediately to drink from the feeder.

I've been trying to take a video of the humming birds in action, but these critters are extremely difficult to capture. By the time I spot them, get my camera ready, they are gone! Today, I was lying on my sofa looking out the glass door, I saw the humming bird come by. It flew away, but I grabbed my Casio digital camera that has a video-capture feature and pointed it at the bird feeder. Luckily, the bird came by again to drink from the feeder and I got the video! Not the best quality, but still, this is the first time I got a clear shot of this amazing sight. Enjoy!
